Design inspiration can be found anywhere; in this case it came from the mere scurrying of an insect. These life-like bugs are given a new purpose with a small magnet on the underside of each, adding a touch of whimsy and a bit of intrigue to any magnetic surface. Each insect is crafted by hand with a body of clay and appendages of wire and newspaper. Using a classical paper mache technique the paper is lacquered and then painted by hand to resemble the true thing. Creating Dutch master still life has never come more easily.
