Design inspiration can be found anywhere; in this case it came from the mere scurry of a crab, wriggle of an octopus and creep of a lobster. These life-like sea creatures are given a new purpose with a small magnet on the underside of each, adding a touch of whimsy and a bit of intrigue to any magnetic surface. Each creature is crafted by hand with a body of clay and appendages of wire and newspaper. We've left the newsprint and clay visible, creating an ambiguous form of the true thing. |
