We want you to be happy with your purchase on AREOhome. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, we are ready to help process your return.
RETURN PROCEDURES: Sale merchandise, apothecary/spa products, and books are Final Sale and not eligible for return or exchange. For all other items customers must contact us in advance of returning items to receive a Return Authorization Number and appropriate instructions. We are unable to accept returns that do not include a Return Authorization.
PLEASE NOTE: Many of our products will have slight differences of size and color from piece to piece due to the manufacturing process or hand made nature of the product and these variances will not be considered defects in the case of a return.
RETURNING ORDERS OVER $50: Customers must obtain a Return Authorization from customer service. If items are being returned due to defect or breakage, AREO will cover the cost of shipping the damaged item back and a replacement will be sent to you at our cost.
If items are returned for any other reason a 5% return fee will be deducted from the credit and it is the customer’s responsibility to pay for shipping the item(s) back to AREO. Customers who wish to cancel orders that have not yet been delivered but tracking information is available and showing in-transit, will be charged all applicable re-stocking and return fees.
RETURNING ORDERS UNDER $50: Orders that initially paid a $8.95 (or less) flat rate on shipping will be credited their order subtotal, calculated prior to the flat rate shipping charge.

Please include a copy of your original invoice and write your RMA # on this paperwork. We recommend that you send the package back to us via traceable carrier and insure the full amount of the merchandise you are sending back to us. We are not responsible for missing packages.
RETURNING ORDERS FROM OUTSIDE THE 48 US CONTIGUOUS STATES: International orders and orders shipped to Hawaii or Alaska will be credited, less the initial cost of the shipment. Before making a return, you must contact us for specific return instructions.
INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: Due to the costly nature of shipping, international orders are not eligible for return.
EXCHANGES: To prevent over selling on our site we do not offer exchanges, but please return the item you wish to replace in accordance with the return process set out above and place a new order for the items your require. This way you will have what you really want as soon as possible!
I WAS SHIPPED THE WRONG ITEM: We are so sorry if a mistake was made in processing your order! Please email our customer service team (service@AREOhome.com) with your order number and the item number of the merchandise that you received as well as the item that you were expecting. We’ll send you a return shipping label. If we have the correct item in stock, we’ll ship it to you as soon as the incorrect item is received. If the item is no longer available, we’ll credit your original form of payment.
PAYMENT: We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover for all on-line orders. Your card is not charged until your order ships. Tax is only added to orders within California where AREO has a retail presence; this is in compliance of applicable laws.
