OUR SHIPPING POLICY

Your satisfaction is guaranteed. If for any reason our merchandise does not meet your expectations, just let us know why and we’ll take care of it. 

We will notify you via e-mail when we have processed your order and also when your order is shipped.

Payment 

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover for all on-line orders. Your card is charged on day of your order and will be shipped within 1-3 business days. Tax is only added to orders within California where AREO has a retail presence; this is in compliance of applicable laws.

Matches 

We apologize, due to Federal regulations we are unable to ship matches to a PO Box, air ship matches, ship matches internationally or ship matches outside of the 48 contiguous United States. Matches may only be shipped ground, domestically.

Standard Shipping Costs for Orders Within the 48 Contiguous United States 

All orders over $50 receive FREE shipping within the 48 Contiguous Sates.

Orders below $50 pay a flat rate of $5.00 or $3.95 for a set of 3 of our ever popular matches.

Most orders are shipped via UPS. Please note that UPS is not able to deliver to PO Boxes; therefore we need a physical street address. Please include the nearest cross street, if shipping to a rural address.

Smaller items may ship via USPS with tracking, and larger items may ship via truck. We will provide shipping information once your order is ready. Please feel free to contact us with any questions regarding your shipping method. 

A signature may be required for delivery in some areas – to insure delivery, choose a ‘Ship To’ address that is occupied during the business day.

Shipping Time 

Most items are in stock and will ship within 72 business hours. Orders received after 1 pm on Friday will not ship until Monday at the earliest. If an item is unavailable we will notify you right away by e-mail with an approximate date of when you can expect it. Please allow delivery times of 7-10 business days for standard orders of in-stock items. Large or heavy items may take a bit longer.

Express Orders will incur a fee. Orders placed by Noon PST, Monday through Thursday, can be shipped for next business day arrival within the continental US for an additional $20 per address, or within 3-4 business days for an additional $10 per address. A daytime phone number is required for all rush orders since we will need to call you to obtain payment information for the extra charges. Large and heavy items will incur additional cost above these standard express rates. To prevent additional shipping costs, we encourage using our standard shipping option.

Shipping to Multiple Addresses 

Shipping to multiple addresses is easy. To ship to another address, just start a new order for the next address. Stay on-line and your ‘Bill To’ information will be saved between orders.

Shipping Damage 

If your order happens to get damaged in shipping, notify us immediately and we will send a replacement at once. Please save the product, all packing materials, and the original carton and we will take care of the rest.

International Orders and Orders Outside the 48 Contiguous United States 

Shipments to to Alaska and Hawaii are subject to increased shipping cost and may be shipped via USPS. Shipments to US territories, Mexico, Canada, or foreign countries necessitates confirmation of delivery requirements from AREO, and are subject to higher shipping costs. We will notify you via e-mail of approximate shipping cost and requirements on receipt of your order and once we receive your approval call you for additional payment. Customer assumes responsibility for all international duties and fees. These fees are non-refundable.

OUR RETURNS POLICY

We want you to be happy with your purchase on AREOhome. If you are dissatisfied for any reason, we are ready to help process your return.

RETURN PROCEDURES: Sale merchandise, apothecary/spa products, and books are Final Sale and not eligible for return or exchange. For all other items customers must contact us in advance of returning items to receive a Return Authorization Number and appropriate instructions. We are unable to accept returns that do not include a Return Authorization.

PLEASE NOTE: Many of our products will have slight differences of size and color from piece to piece due to the manufacturing process or hand made nature of the product and these variances will not be considered defects in the case of a return.

RETURNING ORDERS OVER $50: Customers must obtain a Return Authorization from customer service. If items are being returned due to defect or breakage, AREO will cover the cost of shipping the damaged item back and a replacement will be sent to you at our cost.

If items are returned for any other reason a 5% return fee will be deducted from the credit and it is the customer’s responsibility to pay for shipping the item(s) back to AREO.  Customers who wish to cancel orders that have not yet been delivered but tracking information is available and showing in-transit, will be charged all applicable re-stocking and return fees.

RETURNING ORDERS UNDER $50: Orders that initially paid a $5.95 (or less) flat rate on shipping will be credited their order subtotal, calculated prior to the flat rate shipping charge.

Please include a copy of your original invoice and write your RMA # on this paperwork. We recommend that you send the package back to us via traceable carrier and insure the full amount of the merchandise you are sending back to us. We are not responsible for missing packages.

RETURNING ORDERS FROM OUTSIDE THE 48 US CONTIGUOUS STATES: International orders and orders shipped to Hawaii or Alaska will be credited, less the initial cost of the shipment. Before making a return, you must contact us for specific return instructions.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS: Due to the costly nature of shipping, international orders are not eligible for return.

EXCHANGES: To prevent over selling on our site we do not offer exchanges, but please return the item you wish to replace in accordance with the return process set out above and place a new order for the items your require. This way you will have what you really want as soon as possible!

I WAS SHIPPED THE WRONG ITEM: We are so sorry if a mistake was made in processing your order! Please email our customer service team(service@AREOhome.com) with your order number and the item number of the merchandise that you received as well as the item that you were expecting. We’ll send you a return shipping label. If we have the correct item in stock, we’ll ship it to you as soon as the incorrect item is received. If the item is no longer available, we’ll credit your original form of payment.
